The systems are broken by design. We're here to build something new, policies that put people over profit, dignity over dollars.
"医疗保健是人权,不是有钱人的特权。"
每年有45,000名美国人因负担不起医疗而死亡。 Millions more ration insulin, skip medications, and avoid the doctor because they can't pay. This is not a healthcare system, it's a death sentence for the working class.
Insurance companies make billions while denying coverage to sick people. Pharmaceutical executives get rich while families go bankrupt buying life-saving medications. Hospital administrators earn seven figures while nurses are overworked and underpaid.
We support the Medicare for All Act of 2025 (H.R. 3069 / S. 1129), introduced by Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Rep. Debbie Dingell, and Sen. Bernie Sanders with over 100 cosponsors. This landmark legislation would guarantee universal healthcare to every American:
"The American people understand, as I do, that health care is a human right, not a privilege and that we must end the international embarrassment of the United States being the only major country on earth that does not guarantee health care to all people." - Sen. Bernie Sanders
"没有人是非法的。废除这个恐吓我们社区的机构。"
ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, was created in 2003 as part of the post-9/11 security apparatus. In the two decades since, it has become a rogue agency that operates with virtually no accountability, tearing families apart, caging children, and conducting raids that terrorize entire communities.
ICE has separated thousands of children from their parents. It has detained people in facilities where they have died from medical neglect. It has deported veterans who served this country. It has created a climate of fear that prevents immigrants from reporting crimes, seeking healthcare, or sending their children to school. This agency cannot be reformed. It must be abolished.
We support the 废除ICE Act (H.R. 7123), introduced by Rep. Shri Thanedar, which would dissolve ICE within 90 days and end its current enforcement authority. We also support the New Way Forward Act, which would fundamentally reform immigration enforcement by:
"Since ICE's establishment in 2003, they've prioritized aggressive enforcement and violence rather than due process. ICE is out of control and beyond reform. We must fundamentally change the way we approach immigration." - Rep. Shri Thanedar
"工人运动建设了这个国家。是时候重建工人运动了。"
For decades, corporations have waged war on workers. They've busted unions, shipped jobs overseas, and replaced good wages with gig economy exploitation. CEO pay has skyrocketed while workers' wages have flatlined. This is not an accident, it's policy.
We believe in the power of organized labor. When workers stand together, they can demand dignity, fair wages, and safe working conditions. Every worker deserves a union, and every union deserves the power to fight back.
We support the Richard L. Trumka Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act (H.R. 20 / S. 852), introduced by Rep. Bobby Scott and Sen. Bernie Sanders, and the Raise the Wage Act of 2025 (S. 1332), which would raise the federal minimum wage to $17 by 2030 and benefit 22 million workers.
"The $7.25 an hour minimum wage is a starvation wage. It must be raised to a living wage. In the year 2025, a job should lift you out of poverty, not keep you in it." - Sen. Bernie Sanders
"为什么我们在为以色列医疗付费,而美国人因配给胰岛素而死亡?"
Every year, American taxpayers send $3.8 billion to Israel, a wealthy nation with universal healthcare, free college education, and a higher standard of living than many American communities. Israeli citizens enjoy government-funded healthcare from birth. Their students graduate debt-free. Meanwhile, Americans go bankrupt from medical bills, drown in student debt, and watch their infrastructure crumble.
And what do we get for our $3.8 billion? Bombs that kill children in Gaza. Our tax dollars funded the destruction of hospitals, schools, and refugee camps. Tens of thousands of civilians dead. This isn't foreign aid. This is American money financing genocide while AIPAC-bought politicians look the other way.
AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, spends over $100 million every election cycle to buy American politicians. They don't register as a foreign agent. They target any politician who questions unconditional support for Israel. My opponent, Sarah Elfreth, has taken their money. I never will.
Foreign governments and their lobbying arms should not be writing American foreign policy. Period.
"Every dollar we send overseas to fund someone else's healthcare, someone else's schools, someone else's military, is a dollar we're not spending on Americans. It's time to put our own people first."
"气候正义和经济正义是不可分割的。"
The climate crisis is the existential threat of our time. We have less than a decade to dramatically reduce emissions or face catastrophic, irreversible damage. But this crisis is also an opportunity: to rebuild our economy, create millions of good jobs, and finally deliver justice to communities that have been poisoned and exploited for generations.
The fossil fuel industry has known about climate change for 50 years and chose profits over the planet. It's time to hold them accountable and build a new economy that works for working people and the Earth.
We support the 绿色新政 Resolution (H.Res. 109), introduced by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey, along with the 绿色新政 for Public Housing Act (H.R. 2104) and the Civilian Climate Corps to put Americans to work fighting climate change.
"We can choose to be the generation that confronts climate change and builds a just, sustainable economy. Or we can be the generation that looked away while the planet burned. I choose to fight." - Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
"Reproductive freedom is non-negotiable. Full stop."
The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was an assault on bodily autonomy and human dignity. Across the country, women are being forced to carry pregnancies against their will, denied life-saving medical care, and criminalized for making decisions about their own bodies. This is not freedom; it's state-enforced control.
Abortion is healthcare. It is a decision that belongs to the individual, not politicians, not judges, and certainly not the government. We must codify the right to abortion into federal law and ensure that every person has access to the full range of reproductive healthcare, regardless of where they live or how much money they have.
We support the Women's Health Protection Act of 2025 (H.R. 12 / S. 2150), which would establish a federal statutory right to abortion care, overriding state bans and restrictions. This legislation has over 200 cosponsors in Congress.
"The government has no place in our doctor's offices or our private medical decisions. Bodily autonomy is a fundamental human right, and we will fight to protect it."
"Education is a right, not a product. Public schools, not private profits."
For decades, billionaires and corporate interests have waged war on public education. They've pushed charter schools that drain funding from public schools, turned education into a profit center, and saddled students with crushing debt. Meanwhile, public school teachers buy supplies out of their own pockets and children go hungry during the school day.
Education is the foundation of democracy. It should be free, universal, and excellent, from pre-K through college. That's why we proudly support Senator Bernie Sanders' College for All Act, which would make public colleges and universities tuition-free for 95% of American families, eliminate tuition at community colleges and trade schools for everyone, and cancel student debt. This isn't radical; countries like Germany, France, and Denmark already provide free college education. We did it after World War II with the GI Bill, and we can do it again.
"Instead of giving tax breaks to billionaires, we're going to make public colleges and universities tuition-free so working-class students can succeed and are not burdened with a lifetime of debt." - Senator Bernie Sanders
"No one should sleep on the street while luxury condos sit empty."
Housing is not a commodity, it's a human right. Yet across America, rents skyrocket while wages stagnate. Families are evicted so landlords can raise prices. Investors buy up homes and leave them empty while people sleep in tents. The private market has failed us. it's time for a public option.
In Maryland's 3rd District, working families are being pushed out of neighborhoods they've lived in for generations. Teachers, nurses, and service workers can't afford to live in the communities they serve. This is class war, and the landlords are winning. That's why we support the HOMES Act, introduced by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Tina Smith, a bold plan to build 1.3 million permanently affordable homes and create over 400,000 good-paying jobs per year.
"A home is not an investment vehicle for Wall Street. It's the foundation of a dignified life. The HOMES Act offers a real solution: housing built for people, not profit."
"No child should go hungry at school in the richest country on Earth."
Every day, millions of children go to school hungry. They sit in classrooms trying to learn while their stomachs growl. They feel shame when they can't afford lunch. This is unacceptable. In the wealthiest nation in human history, every child deserves a free breakfast and lunch at school.
Universal free school meals aren't charity. They're an investment in our children's futures. Well-fed students learn better, behave better, and achieve more. This is common sense, and it's the right thing to do.
We support the Expanding Access to School Meals Act of 2025 (H.R. 2680) and the Universal 免费学校餐 Program Act, which would provide free breakfast and lunch to every student in America, regardless of family income.
"A hungry child cannot learn. When we feed our children, we invest in their futures and in America's future."
"Billionaires should not exist while children go hungry."
The richest Americans pay a lower effective tax rate than teachers, nurses, and firefighters. Corporations rake in record profits while paying zero in federal taxes. Wealth is hoarded at the top while infrastructure crumbles and public services are gutted.
This is not about envy, it's about justice. The billionaire class has rigged the system in their favor. They buy politicians, write their own tax laws, and hide trillions in offshore accounts. It's time to make them pay what they owe.
We support the Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act, introduced by Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Rep. Pramila Jayapal, which would impose a 2% annual tax on wealth over $50 million and a 3% tax on wealth over $1 billion, raising at least $3 trillion over 10 years. We also support the Billionaires Income Tax, introduced by Sen. Ron Wyden with 18 Senate cosponsors.
"You didn't build that fortune alone. You used our roads, our schools, our workers. Now pay your share."
"The working class must not be disarmed."
The Second Amendment is an American right, and we should fight to keep it. Throughout history, the ability of working people to defend themselves has been essential to their liberation. From the labor battles of the early 20th century to the civil rights movement, armed self-defense has protected communities when the state would not.
I do not support attempts to limit arms for law-abiding citizens. However, I do support common-sense measures to keep weapons out of the hands of those who have demonstrated they are a danger to others. Violent criminals and domestic abusers should not have access to firearms. We can protect both our rights and our communities.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." - Second Amendment, U.S. Constitution
"当AI数据中心跳过规则时,你的电费却在飙升。这种情况现在结束。"
In 2025 alone, utilities requested a record $31 billion in rate increases, more than double the previous year. 56 million Americans are seeing higher electric bills, with some states experiencing 20% increases. Meanwhile, the Trump administration issued an executive order letting AI datacenters bypass environmental reviews that every other major facility must complete. Big Tech gets special treatment while you pay more.
Electricity is not a luxury. It's a necessity for survival, for heating and cooling your home, for keeping your food safe, for powering medical equipment. Utilities should not be allowed to gouge families for a basic need while giving sweetheart deals to tech billionaires.
In July 2025, Trump signed Executive Order 14318, "Accelerating Federal Permitting of Data Center Infrastructure," which creates categorical exclusions from NEPA environmental reviews for AI datacenters. This means massive facilities that consume as much electricity as small cities can skip the environmental impact assessments required of hospitals, factories, and other large projects. They strain our power grid, drive up costs for everyone, and face no accountability.
"When Big Tech gets to skip the rules while your electric bill doubles, that's not a free market. That's corporate welfare. We're going to make them play by the same rules as everyone else."
"You cannot support a people's right to democracy if you starve them."
For decades, the United States has used economic sanctions and embargoes as weapons of foreign policy. Politicians claim these measures pressure authoritarian regimes, but the reality is far different: sanctions starve children, deny medicine to the sick, and punish ordinary people for the actions of their governments. You cannot claim to support democracy while making life unbearable for the very people you say you want to free.
From Cuba to Venezuela, from Iran to North Korea, American embargoes have caused immense human suffering without achieving their stated goals. Meanwhile, we trade freely with allies who commit human rights abuses. This hypocrisy must end. The path to a more just world runs through diplomacy, engagement, and solidarity with working people everywhere, not collective punishment.
"Sanctions don't change governments. They starve children, deny medicine to the sick, and punish the innocent. Real solidarity with oppressed peoples means ending the policies that make their lives harder."
"It's time to focus on issues at home, not regime change abroad."
The United States spends more on its military than the next ten countries combined. We have over 750 military bases in 80 countries. We've been at war for most of our history, toppling governments, arming dictators, and destabilizing entire regions, all in the name of "national security" that makes us less safe.
The endless wars have cost us trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives. That money could have guaranteed healthcare, housing, and education for every American. Instead, it went to defense contractors and foreign occupations. Enough.
"We don't need a bigger military, we need a foreign policy that doesn't make enemies of the entire world. The path to security is justice, not domination."
"No one should profit from locking people in cages."
The United States incarcerates more people than any other country on Earth, both in total numbers and per capita. We have 5% of the world's population but 25% of its prisoners. And corporations are getting rich off this human suffering, lobbying for harsher sentences and more incarceration to fill their beds and boost their profits.
Private prison companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group make billions by warehousing human beings. They cut corners on food, medical care, and staffing to maximize profits. They lobby for policies that put more people behind bars. This is not justice; it's exploitation. Incarceration should never be a business model.
"A society should be judged by how it treats its most vulnerable members. Profiting from human cages while denying people dignity, healthcare, and a path to redemption is a moral failure we must end."
"Every person deserves to live authentically, with dignity and full equality under the law."
LGBTQ+ Americans face an unprecedented wave of attacks on their basic rights and dignity. In state legislatures across the country, hundreds of bills target transgender youth, restrict access to healthcare, ban books, and attempt to erase LGBTQ+ people from public life. This isn't about protecting anyone. It's about using vulnerable communities as political pawns.
Trans rights are human rights. Every person deserves access to affirming healthcare, the ability to participate fully in society, and protection from discrimination. We will fight back against the hate and ensure that all Americans can live as their authentic selves without fear of persecution or violence.
"The measure of our society is how we treat those who are different. When we attack trans kids, ban books, and deny people healthcare, we diminish ourselves. True freedom means everyone can live authentically."
